Margaret praises music and art therapy
Margaret (far left) spent an astonishing 15 months
in hospital after a leg amputation.
“I was bored out of my brain. I was stuck on my side for five
months, I wasn’t allowed to go on my back,” Margaret said.
She credits the music and art therapy run by
The Hospital Research Foundation Group Creative Health for getting her through this time.
“I find music therapy relaxing and it helps me
switch off from whatever is happening in my life.
And art therapy - the two of those helped keep me sane.”
