MEN’S HEALTH
Men
have a shorter life
expectancy than women,
and die more often from
preventable diseases.
Empowering men from
CALD communities
A major new health initiative is
being launched in northern Adelaide
to empower men from culturally
and linguistically diverse (CALD)
backgrounds to take better care of
their health.
Led by the Multicultural Communities
Council of SA (MCCSA) in partnership with
Preventive Health SA and The Hospital
Research Foundation Group, the program
will work with six communities to promote
early engagement with health services and
access to preventative healthcare.
