Research capability expands
thanks to donation
Adelaide’s state-of-the-art Biospherix
Chamber has added another key
component, thanks to the generosity
of 17 local Lions Clubs.
The clubs raised $28,000 to purchase
a special Cell Purification Islet Isolator
for the Chamber.
The Chamber opened in 2021 thanks
to funding by The Hospital Research
Foundation Group, allowing
pancreatitis to be treated solely in
Adelaide. This latest equipment helps
the team expand its capability to
Type 1 diabetes!
Drinking dark tea every day may help reduce
Type 2 diabetes risk, new research has found!
Through better blood sugar control, daily consumers of
dark tea had 53% lower risk for pre-diabetes and 47% reduced
risk for Type 2 diabetes compared to never-tea drinkers.
Your donations have helped Associate Professor Tongzhi Wu
progress these world-leading findings – thank you!
