Trial boot camp bringing exceptional results
Stroke patients undergoing an intensive
‘boot camp’ rehabilitation program are
seeing improvement almost three times
greater than standard rehab!
The trial clinic, being run by physiotherapy
students from the University of South Australia
for people needing more help in their arms and
hands, is proving to help accelerate
stroke recovery.
Stroke survivor Adrian Fitzgerald (pictured
right with trial lead Dr Brendan Hordacre)
raved about the clinic after attending three
hours a day, five days a week for five weeks.
“It certainly did change my life,” he said.
