Connecting regional patients with cancer nurses
Thanks to you, regional cancer patients now
have greater access to specialist cancer
nurses, virtually.
Delivered through the CAN Connect project,
your kind donations helped to fund the remote
monitoring kits needed for patients to keep
track of their temperature, blood oxygen, pulse
rate and blood pressure at home.
“Without these kits, it would not be
possible to safely monitor our patients
from the comfort of their home and
CAN Connect simply would not be
possible,” said Kristy Howell (right),
senior cancer nurse at the Royal
Adelaide Hospital.
